Post Throwback Blog
I hope you're happy, because I know we are!
We are so happy with the turnout of Throwback!
With Throwback, the cast was given the opportunity to dance and sing to songs from previous NPAC performers making a true NPAC Throwback with a few new numbers thrown in.
It was also a time to showcase a lot of the newbies. There were new vocalists, new narrators, and all around new faces! However, they fit in with the group perfectly.
Rehearsals for Throwback started right after our show Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in late March. We only had about a month to put a show together. After the sweat, hard work, and lots and lots of dancing, we did it!
Before we knew it, we were on stage and in front of billions! Well maybe not billions, but that was the most people I've ever seen in the cafe all at once!
Throwback also gave the students like me who are going to Disneyland a chance to fundraise! I must admit, all the food was so good!
I'm really glad I got to be a part of the cast of Throwback! This was also the seniors' last performance. I think I can speak for the cast when I say I appreciate everything the seniors have done for us. They have put in so much for this show and this program. They are really going to be missed when they leave but they helped the upcoming veterans learn how to become strong leaders for the program. Thank you Bailey and Deja we all love you both.
So now that the shows are completed, on behalf of NPAC, we send a huge thank you to everyone who came out to our shows and who helped our cast throughout the process. For those of you who missed it, don't worry, our cast still has many upcoming touring shows and we are opening up the program to new students for next school year where we will have much more shows!
See you all soon!-Dori
