Final Thoughts of NPAC

June 10, 2017

Hi everyone, my name is Kukui Raymond and I'm here to share my final thoughts of being a part of the Nanakuli High and Intermediate School Performing Arts Center.

I really have changed from when I first joined the program when I was in 8th grade compared to now. When I first joined I was shy, quiet, and couldn't talk in front of people. But I feel like this program has really helped me open up and come out of my shell. Now I am able to talk in front of a crowd of people and I'm not as quiet and shy as I used to be. I feel that I am who am because of this program.

Also in this program I discovered my passion for dancing. Over the years, my knowledge expanded and my skills have grown thanks to the students and Alumni around me teaching me new things and believing in me.

Besides how I grew in this program, I learned how to develop good character. One is working with people. We had to work in groups to come up with choreography or teach it during rehearsal. Another trait is learning respect and appreciation. A lot of people volunteer their time to help out the program and I was so thankful for that.

This program was like my second home. Everyone in  the program cared about me and I cared about them. It's like I have a lot of brothers and sisters. And I will miss them. And not to mention all of the things the Kitsu family has done for me and the program as well.

I will never forget about my past four and a half years of being a part of this program and I would like to say thank you for having me. For future and current NPAC students remember to be humble and grateful.
